The Ljutiza Nunatak ( Bulgarian нунатак Лютица nunatak Ljutiza ) is a rocky and 430 m high nunatak on Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 1.9 km west-southwest of the Ilarion Ridge , 2.5 km east to north of Momchil Peak and 1.1 km north of Vratsa Peak from the ice cap of Breznik Heights . The Mussala Glacier is north, east and south of it.
Bulgarian scientists mapped it while surveying the Tangra Mountains between 2004 and 2005. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the medieval fortress Lyutitsa in the eastern Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria .
