Llica is a town in the Potosí department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Llica is the seat of the administration of the province of Daniel Campos and the central place of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Llica . The village is located at an altitude of 3681  m in the source area of ​​the Río Jalanta , which flows in a southeast direction after seven kilometers into the salt lake Salar de Uyuni .

The Municipio Llica is located between the western Andean chain of the Cordillera Occidental and the eastern chain of the Cordillera Oriental on the banks of the Salar de Uyuni salt lake .
