Loch Bà is a Scottish freshwater lake on Rannoch Moor in the Highland Council Area . The lake has a very irregular shape. The maximum length is 3.4 km, the maximum width is 1.1 km. There are numerous islands in Loch Bà.
The lake is fed with water at its southwestern end by the River Bà, which widens to Lochan na Stainge shortly before its confluence in Loch Bà , and the Lochan na h-Achlaise . Loch Bà drains at its northeastern end over the Abhainn Bà into Loch Laidon .
The banks of Loch Bà are completely uninhabited. There are also no larger settlements in the immediate vicinity. The lake is only accessible from the A82 on its southeastern bank . All other sections of the bank cannot be reached by car. Loch Bà is a fishing area where trout in particular can be caught.
