Location of Lohma in Bavaria

Lohma is a village in the Upper Palatinate . It is a district of the town of Pleystein in the district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab in Bavaria and is located on the Zottbach in the southern municipality area directly on the A6 Nuremberg - Prague motorway . Lohma also includes the Lohma settlement north of the motorway.

history

In 1808/10 the Lohma tax district was formed. The political municipality was established in Bavaria in 1818 by the municipal edict. On January 1, 1972, as part of the regional reform in Bavaria, the previously independent municipalities of Lohma and Miesbrunn and parts of the dissolved municipalities of Bernrieth were incorporated into Pleystein. On July 1, 1972, parts of the former municipality of Burkhardsrieth followed.

The village is home to the Lohma (Pleystein) village chapel, newly built in 1926, and the Lohma (Pleystein) old village chapel, which dates back to the Middle Ages .
