The Lombach , also called Lindener Bach , is a 2.6 km long left tributary of the Agger in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany . The stream is incorrectly listed under the name Kaltenbach in the water register.

The Lombachtal is designated as a nature reserve.

geography

The stream rises about 1 km northeast of Marialinden , a district of Overath , on the northern slope of the ridge on which the village is located. The source is at 235  m above sea level. NHN . From here it flows mainly in a westerly direction through the Lombachtal, taking in several smaller tributaries. The largest tributary flows into the Lombach from the north just a few meters before it flows into the Agger. Then the Lombach flows at 96  m above sea level. NHN on the left into the Agger .

On its 2.4 km long path, the brook has overcome a difference in altitude of 128 m, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 53.3 ‰.
