The Loptjuga ( Russian Лоптюга ) is a right tributary of the Waschka in the Mesen catchment area in the Komi Republic in northwestern Russia .

The Loptjuga runs east of the upper reaches of the Waschka. It flows through a hilly taiga landscape, first in a northeastern, later in a northwestern direction. It has a length of 152 km. It drains an area of ​​1620 km². During the melting of the snow, the river drains much of its annual water volume. A few kilometers to the east runs the Bolshaya Loptjuga , which flows directly into the Mesen.
