Lorenz Rhomberg

Lorenz Rhomberg (born June 14, 1896 in Dornbirn , † April 19, 1976 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian entrepreneur , NSDAP functionary and NSDAP district economic advisor .

Rhomberg came from the Dornbirn factory owner family Herrburger-Rhomberg. During his studies he became a member of the Arminia Munich fraternity in 1918 . He was one of the partners in the textile company Herrburger & Rhomberg in Dornbirn. In 1932 he became a member of the NSDAP , for which he was the head of the 1st district and the crook intelligence service. After the annexation of Austria in 1938 he became a member of the SA (1938: Obersturmführer der Standarte 100; 1941: Hauptsturmführer), Councilor of the City of Vienna , Head of the Cotton Weavers Section and Deputy Head of the Textile Industry Economic Group. He also became head of the Vienna and Lower Danube Chamber of Commerce, Gau economic advisor and from 1940 Gaujägermeister of Vienna.

After his denazification, he was a board member of the Association of Cotton Spinners and Weavers in Austria , the Tyrol Regional Group of the Association of Industry and President of the Association of Independent Business Owners . In 1962 he became a commercial councilor .
