Lorenza Izzo
Lorenza Izzo Parsons (born September 19, 1989 in Santiago de Chile ) is a Chilean actress , journalist and model .
Life
Lorenza was born in 1989 in Santiago de Chile , where she and a younger sister grew up with her mother. In 2008 she left her Chilean home for an acting workshop at the Lee Strasberg Academy in New York City . During this time she got her first modeling job in 2009 and ran the Fashion Week in São Paulo for the Chilean designer Rosita Parson and her fashion label Colcci . Following the fashion week, she returned to Chile and began studying journalism at the Universidad de los Andes in 2010 .
In 2014, Izzo married the American director and actor Eli Roth . In July 2018, they announced their split.
Film career
She financed her studies with small model jobs and minor film roles, so Izzo made her acting debut in 2010 with a supporting role in the direction of the final thesis of Escuela de Cine UDD student Sebastián Radic, the drama Instrucciones para mi funeral . This was followed by her first leading role in Nicolás López 'comedy drama Qué pena tu boda and its sequel Que pena tu familia , where she played Lucía Edwards .
