Lorenzo Gancia
Lorenzo Vallarino Gancia (born June 20, 1930 in Turin ; † October 7, 2017 in Canelli , Asti province ) was an Italian winemaker and doyen of Italian sparkling wine entrepreneurs. The two hundred year old family business, an eponymous Piedmontese spumante he sold maker 2012. He was twelve years vice-president of Confindustria , Italy's largest employers' organization, as well as a board member of Riso Gallo, Fiorucci fashion, Buitoni , Perugina and Ausimont.
