Lorenzo Music (born May 2, 1937 in Brooklyn , New York as Gerald David Music , † August 4, 2001 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American voice actor , television producer and screenwriter .
Career
From 1962 music was heard in numerous television series such as The Jetsons , Disney's Gummy Bear Gang and The Real Ghostbusters . Until his death he was also the regular spokesman for Garfield , whom he spoke in Garfield and his friends , comic stars against drugs and numerous television films. As a screenwriter, he wrote scripts for the series Mary Tyler Moore and The Lorenzo and Henrietta Music Show, which he also produced himself. His voice can still be heard in commercials for crash test dummies .
Private
Music was married to Henrietta Music until his death, with whom he had four children.
