Lothar Bergmann (politician)

Lothar Bergmann (born July 13, 1931 in Arnstadt ; † February 25, 2004 ) was a German local politician ( SPD ) and from 1976 to 1982 district administrator of the Bergstrasse district .

Career

In 1947 Bergmann moved from his home town of Arnstadt in Thuringia to Cuxhaven . There he graduated from high school. He then studied in Freiburg and Berlin law . He received his doctorate in Berlin and worked there full-time at the university. Then he went as a district councilor in the district office of the Bergstrasse district in Heppenheim . 1972 to 1976 he was first district member under the social democratic district administrator Ekkehard Lommel . In 1976, Bergmann succeeded Lommel. After his political career, Bergman worked as a partner in a Heppenheim law firm.

Bergmann died unexpectedly during a vacation in the Black Forest.
