Lothar Hasl

Lothar Hasl (born June 29, 1957 in Landshut ) is a German editor and cabaret artist and has been head of communications for Südwestrundfunk since 2013 .

Life

Hasl grew up in the northern Black Forest in Althengstett . In Tübingen he studied economics , economic history and business administration with a focus on marketing and graduated in 1985 with a degree in business administration . For the Süddeutscher Rundfunk (SDR) and the Südwestfunk (SWF) he wrote oral arthearing plays as a freelance author, which received awards. With “Stories from Something - Der Freischütz” he won a German oral arthore play award.

From 1986 he worked as an editor in radio entertainment and in the "Land und Menschen" editorial department of the SDR. He initially worked as a radio and television editor in various areas of the SDR. During this time he helped develop formats such as " Hannes und der Bürgermeister " and "Komik & Comedy". From 1995 to 1998 he worked as a bimedial editor for radio and television. Since the founding of Südwestrundfunk in 1998, Lothar Hasl initially worked as the division manager of the Baden-Württemberg state broadcasting marketing department and was therefore responsible for the external presentation and events of the SWR1, SWR4 and SWR television programs in Baden-Württemberg. From 2007 he headed the entire marketing department. Lothar Hasl has headed the main communication department at SWR since 2013. This includes the press and PR, company spokesperson, brand management and design, marketing, communication management and media research departments.

From 1980 Lothar Hasl formed the cabaret / songwriter duo “Erotic Explousch'n” together with Dieter Waldmann, with whom he successfully toured through southern Germany until 2007 and made well over 1000 appearances. “Erotic Explousch'n” has produced four LPs / CDs and won various cabaret awards.

He is on the board of the non-profit association "Friends and Sponsors of Wilhelma eV". He is also a member of the jury for the state award " Kleinkunstpreis Baden-Württemberg " and sits on the specialist jury of the "Spotlight Festival for Moving Image Communication".

Lothar Hasl is married and lives in Stuttgart .
