Lothar Müller (journalist)
Lothar Müller (* 1954 ) is a German journalist , literary critic and literary scholar .
Life
Müller studied German literature and history in Marburg and was treated with a dissertation on Karl Philipp Moritz doctorate . Since 1981 he has worked as a freelancer for newspapers and radio companies. From 1997 to 2001 Müller was feuilleton -Redakteur the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung ; then he switched to the features editor of the Süddeutsche Zeitung based in Berlin .
From 1985 to 1991 he worked part-time as a lecturer for general and comparative literature at the Free University of Berlin . Since 2010, Müller has also been an honorary professor at the Humboldt University in Berlin and has been on the board of the Rudolf Alexander Schröder Foundation in Bremen since 2006, where he is also chairman of the jury for the Bremen Literature Prize .
