Lothar Schruff

Lothar Schruff (born March 1, 1940 in Osnabrück ) is a German economist .

Life

After graduating from high school, he trained as a business graduate in Cologne. He then studied in Tübingen and Münster , where Jörg Baetge became Dr. rer. pole. PhD. In Tübingen Schruff became a member of the Corps Franconia . From 1973 to 1977 he was assistant professor for auditing at the Technical University of Berlin . From 1978 to 1981 he was a lecturer at the University of Hanover and then at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster. There he became an honorary professor in 1986.

In 1990 Lothar Schruff was offered a professorship for business administration , in particular accounting, at the economics faculty of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen . He is a member of the board of directors of the Institute for Accounting and Auditing of Public and Private Enterprises and the Seminar for Insurance Science.

Schruff is married, has two children and lives in Göttingen.
