Louis-Philippe-Adélard Langevin
Louis-Philippe-Adélard Langevin OMI (born August 23, 1855 in Saint-Isidore , Québec , † June 15, 1915 ) was a Canadian clergyman and Archbishop of Saint-Boniface .
Life
Louis-Philippe Adélard Langevin joined the Congregation of the Oblates in and received on 30 July 1882, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
Pope Leo XIII. appointed him on January 8, 1895 Archbishop of Saint-Boniface. The Archbishop of Montréal , Édouard-Charles Fabre , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year.
