Louis Albert Auguste-Dormeuil (born August 25, 1868 in Croissy-sur-Seine , † October 8, 1951 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye ) was a French sailor .

successes

Louis Auguste-Dormeuil took part in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris , where he competed in three competitions. With his yacht Pettit-Poucet he was disqualified in the joint race and finished the first race in the boat class 0.5 to 1 ton in seventh place. The second race he sailed with the Carabinier , with which he finished the race before Émile Michelet with the Scamasaxe and Jules Valton with the Crabe II as Olympic champion .

His great-nephew Pierre Dormeuil was a participant in the skeleton competition of the 1928 Olympic Winter Games .
