Love Alien is an autobiographical documentary by filmmaker Wolfram Huke . The premiere took place as part of the Hof International Film Festival in 2012. It was released on May 16, 2013. On December 10, 2013, the film was shown for the first time on television (Bayerischer Rundfunk).

Wolfram Huke documents in his film a year of his life as an “absolute beginner” between his 29th and 30th birthday. The only theme of the film is his inexperience with love relationships. From this point of view, he comes into contact with various people in his personal environment in order to discuss the aspects of his lack of relationships. For example with a long-time platonic friend who is also inexperienced in relationships and a Croatian acquaintance (who was previously considered a potential partner) who Huke visits in her home country. The film also shows Huke in conversations with a psychotherapist, his parents, with women who are supposed to advise him on clothing issues, as well as on a hike on the Way of St. James and when searching for online dating sites. Between these episodes, Wolfram Huke ponders his life and experiences in a kind of diary. The film ends with his 30th birthday - still as a single.
