Lubov "Lubi" Gazov (born March 6, 1989 in Sofia , Bulgaria ) is an Austrian aerobics woman . At the 2012 World Championships in Sofia, she came third in the individual women category. A year later she took bronze at the World Games in Cali . At the end of 2013, the European runner-up was added. In Cancun 2014 she became world champion.

Career

Lubi Gazov came to Austria six months after she was born and graduated from the sports branch at BORG Linz in 2007 . This was followed by a degree in sports science at the University of Salzburg . Her sports career began with rhythmic gymnastics , in which she won a title at the Austrian state championships. From 2002 she concentrated on sports aerobics and thus laid the foundation for numerous international successes. Gazov trains with her mother in Linz and starts for TSV Ottensheim.

Lubi Gazov won every time she competed at Austrian championships and took 15 titles. In 2004 she was seventh at the FIG Junior World Championships in Sofia . A year later she won the U18 World Cup in Mexico City . In 2006 he won the ANAC World Showcase and in 2007 he took third place at the World Cup in Los Angeles .

In autumn 2009, Gazov announced his resignation as sixth in the world rankings. The Linz native could no longer reconcile her studies in Salzburg with top-class sports training. A year after resigning, Gazov returned to competitive sports in November 2010. After winning the Austrian Aerobic Open, she won the silver medal at the 2011 World Cup in Las Vegas . In the same year she won bronze at the Hungarian Open and was fourth at the European Championships in Bucharest . In the summer of 2012 she won the bronze medal at the World Championships in Sofia . A year later, Gazov again achieved bronze at the World Games in Cali . At the end of 2013, she won the European runner-up title in Arques. She won the gold medal at the 2014 World Cup in Cancún . Between 2012 and 2015, Gazov achieved six World Cup victories. In addition, Gazov world record with 210 double Wenson- pushups .
