Lucas Henrique Ferreira Venuto (born January 14, 1995 in Governador Valadares ) is a Brazilian soccer player and has been under contract with FC Santos since August 2019 .

Career

Lucas Venuto received his football training at Red Bull Brasil as a youth , from where he moved to the U-19 team at RB Leipzig . In order to maintain match practice, he and Felipe Pires were transferred to FC Liefering in Salzburg in the summer of 2014 . In the following fall season he was used 13 times in the starting XI, five times he was substituted on. He scored five goals and gave three assists.

With the beginning of the spring season 2014/15 he switched to SV Grödig on loan . At the beginning of 2015/16 he moved to SV Grödig.

In January 2016 he was signed by the league competitor FK Austria Wien . He signed a contract valid until June 2019.

On January 25, 2019, he moved to Canada to the MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps , where he received a contract that ran until December 2021. On August 1, 2019, the Whitecaps announced that the contract with Venuto was amicably terminated on July 31, 2019. Five days later, Santos FC announced their commitment.
