Luciano De Cecco (born June 2, 1988 in Santa Fe ) is an Argentine volleyball player .

Career

De Cecco started his career in 2005 in his hometown at Gimnasia y Esgrima Santa Fe. In 2006 he made his debut in the Argentine national team and was used at the 2006 World Cup . In the 2006/07 season he played for Drean Bolívar and was with the club of Argentine champions. In addition, the setter with Argentina was runner-up in the 2007 South American Championship . In the same year he went to Italy to join Gabeca Montichiari , but returned home in October and played for Belgrano de Córdoba for the rest of the season . In 2008 he was again active in Italy and helped the second division club Andreoli Latina to rise. At the continental championship in 2009, the Argentines again finished second. Then De Cecco came back to Bolívar. In 2011 Argentina became South American runner-up for the third time. In the 2011/12 season, the setter was under contract with Acqua Paradiso Monza . With the Argentine national team , he reached the quarter-finals at the 2012 Olympic Games . After the tournament he moved to Pallavolo Piacenza .
