Luciano Di Napoli

Luciano Di Napoli (born August 12, 1954 in Sfax , Tunisia) is a pianist and conductor . He has worked with great artists such as Johnny Hallyday , Michel Sardou , Herbert Léonard and Nana Mouskouri .

biography

Di Napoli was born in 1954 in Sfax, Tunisia, to a French couple of Italian descent. In 1960 the family moved to the south of France. From 1961 to 1972 he studied music theory , trumpet , piano and liturgical organ at the Conservatory , from 1968 to 1971 piano and singing with the group The Brothers Di Napoli . From 1970 to 1972 he obtained the commercial diploma in accounting at the Brevet d'Études Professionnelles . In 1971 was a member of André Bermond's dance orchestra . From 1980 to 1984 he was a pianist for Johnny Hallyday. From 1984–1988 he was a pianist for Michel Sardou. Since 1988 he has worked as a pianist for Herbert Léonard and since 1989 for Nana Mouskouri.

When Luciano is at home, he spends most of his time in his own studio. He works on the musical arrangements for Nana Mouskouri, Herbert Léonard and also for other productions. As Nana Mouskouri's band leader , Luciano is responsible for selecting the musicians. Together they deal with the selection of the tracks for the tours .
