Lucius is the name of a Thuringian family, the direct line of which began with Andreas Lucius in Seehausen near Frankenhausen . His son Jacob Lucius acquired in 1691 in Erfurt , the civil rights , Johann Anton Lucius (1742-1810) founded the Erfurt 1763 textile factory of the same name .
