Ludvig Schytte
Ludvig Theodor Schytte (born April 28, 1848 in Aarhus , † November 10, 1909 in Berlin ) was a Danish pianist , composer , music teacher and music writer.
Life
Schytte first studied in Copenhagen with Niels Wilhelm Gade and Edmund Neupert . In 1884 he went to Weimar , where he studied with Franz Liszt . From 1886 to 1907 he lived in Vienna , from then on until his death in Berlin . He wrote numerous smaller piano pieces, which are now referred to as salon pieces, a piano sonata and some stage works. Together with Moriz Rosenthal he published a piano school .
