Coordinates: 60 ° 9 ′ N , 15 ° 11 ′ O Ludvika is a municipality ( Swedish commun ) in the Swedish province of Dalarna County and the historical province of Dalarna . The main town of the municipality is Ludvika .

Lake Väsman and Brittas hål bog are in the municipality ; near the village of Saxdalen is the mountain Saxberget , where Långfallsgruvan , a sulphide ore mine , is located.
