Attractions
The Frostbrunnsdalen valley is said to have been a place for worshiping pagan gods until Sweden was Christianized . The central square was the Frökällan spring (spring of the god Freyr ), which is now buried.
The community has many narrow paths that are very popular with motorcyclists. During the tours, the drivers usually take a break in the village of Torsång , where a special variant of Swedish bread and butter ( smörgås ) is offered.
In the cottage Örnässtugan has Gustav Vasa hidden from the Danish pursuers. When they found him, he is said to have fled through the opening of the latrine. There are guided tours of the house.
