Ludwig Dihm

Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig Dihm (born August 15, 1849 in Berlin ; † August 30, 1928 ibid.) Was a German architect and Prussian construction clerk .

Life

Ludwig Dihm was the son of the railway director in the Ministry of Commerce, Albert Ludwig Dihm. In 1870/71 he was Baueleve with Heinrich Strack , then studied at the Berlin Bauakademie with a final construction manager examination. This was followed by practical work at the University of Marburg and in the reconstruction of the Elisabeth Church in Marburg . In 1877 or 1878 he passed the master builder examination and continued his education with Carl Schäfer . In 1908 he was appointed building officer. In 1922 he became a member of the Academy of Building and the Brandenburg Commission for Monument Preservation. For a short time he taught hydraulic engineering at the Bauakademie.
