Ludwig Gundlach
Ludwig Gundlach (born October 31, 1837 in Breitenbach am Herzberg , † May 31, 1921 in Berlin ) was a German administrative lawyer.
Life
As the son of the local school in Breitenbach, Gundlach first studied law at the Philipps University of Marburg . He was reciprocated on July 24, 1858 in the Corps Teutonia Marburg and proved himself as a senior . In 1859 he moved to the University of Leipzig and also joined the Corps Lusatia Leipzig . After the exams he passed the exam as a government assessor in 1866 . After the founding of the German Empire in 1872 he entered the administrative service of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . In 1880 he became district director of the Molsheim district . He was then from 1888 to 1899 district director of the district of Metz . As a pensioner he lived in Berlin . He was the uncle of the hygienist Paul Römer .
