Ludwig Hasper

Ludwig Wilhelm Hasper (born August 13, 1825 in Cönnern ; † September 12, 1890 ) was a German classical philologist and high school teacher.

Life

Hasper attended high school in Wittenberg . After graduating from high school, he studied philology at the Friedrichs-Universität-Halle from Easter 1844 . He was promoted to Dr. phil. doctorate and passed the exam pro facultate docendi in 1850 . After two years in France, he came to Magdeburg as an assistant teacher at the trade and trade school. At Easter 1853 he returned to his former school in Wittenberg as a teacher. At Easter 1854 he was transferred to the grammar school in Mühlhausen as vice-principal and at Easter 1863 as senior teacher at the Brandenburg Knight Academy . In 1867 he became director of the Kgl. Evangelical grammar school in Groß-Glogau . In 1886 he received from William I the Red Eagle .
