Ludwig Heinrich Wilhelm von Arnim

Ludwig Heinrich Wilhelm von Arnim (born October 11, 1771 in Brandenstein ; † November 8, 1848 in Genthin ) was a German administrative officer, manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Ludwig Heinrich Wilhelm von Arnim was born as the son of the manor owner and district administrator Johann August von Arnim. After visiting the Pädagogium the monastery of Our Lady he studied at the University of Halle law . After graduating, he was a trainee lawyer in Magdeburg at the War and Domain Chamber. In 1799, after the death of his father, he became the owner of the manors Brandenstein and Dürremark near Genthin. In 1801 he was again at the University of Erlangen , where he became a member of the Corps Marchia.

In the wars of liberation von Arnim took part in his function as the district deputy in Burg (near Magdeburg) as stage director. He was then a member of the state parliament of the newly founded province of Saxony for the district of Jerichow II . From 1821 to 1845 he was the district administrator of this district. At the same time he was director of the district fire society .

Von Arnim was married to Caroline Friederike Christiane von Stechow from the Kotzen family. The Prussian administrative officer Friedrich Wilhelm August Carl von Arnim was her son.
