Wilhelm von Arnim

Friedrich Wilhelm August Carl von Arnim (born March 30, 1814 in Brandenstein (Möckern) , † October 18, 1890 ibid) was a Prussian administrative lawyer.

Life

Wilhelm von Arnim was born as the son of District Administrator Ludwig Heinrich Wilhelm von Arnim on Brandenstein. He studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität and became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn in 1834 . After completing his studies, he entered the service of the Prussian state. In 1845/46 he was acting district administrator of the Bernkastel district , 1847/48 district administrator of the Gummersbach district , 1849 of the Duisburg district and 1849–1851 of the Geldern district . Most recently he was a senior councilor. After the death of his older brother, he continued the Arnim-Brandenstein family line and lived on Brandenstein until his death.

Was married to v. Armin with Emilie Freiin von der Heyden-Rhynsch. The marriage resulted in two daughters and a son.
