Gustav von Puttkamer

Georg Gustav Leopold von Puttkamer (born January 3, 1827 in Stojentin , Stolp district , † March 7, 1910 in Stolp ) was a Prussian district administrator in the Bernkastel district .

Life

After attending a grammar school in Stolp, he studied law in Heidelberg and Berlin . From 1849 he was an auscultator at the court in Köslin and at the district court in Stolp, before he became a government trainee in Gdansk in 1854 . In 1857 he worked as a government assessor in the Poznan government and from 1862 in the Trier government . On May 4, 1863 he was appointed provisional district administrator for the Bernkastel district. After a year in office, he was replaced in May 1864 by Friedrich von Kühlwetter , who had successfully applied for the position as district administrator.

Gustav von Puttkamer had been married to Anna, nee Giebel, since 1867.
