Klemens Schlueter

Klemens Josemaria Schlüter (* 14. June 1911 in Merzig , † 17th July 1963 in Koblenz ) was a German district president and district administrator of the district of Bernkastel .

Life

After graduating from high school in Koblenz in 1930, Klemens Schlüter studied law in Munich , Berlin and Bonn . He passed the first state examination in law in 1934, which was followed by his doctorate in 1935. From 1934 to 1935 he went through the first part of the practical legal training as a court clerk at the district court Koblenz. After he had passed the major state examination in 1938 , he accepted a position as an assessor at the regional finance office in Cologne . From 1939 to 1945 he was employed at the Vienna Foreign Exchange Office and in 1942 he was appointed to the government council . During the Second World War he did his military service from 1941 to 1945 , whereby he was taken prisoner of war in the last year of the war . Schlueter, who was not a member of the NSDAP , was appointed legal advisor in the Koblenz regional council during 1945 . From 1949 to 1950 he worked in the Ministry of the Interior in Koblenz, where he was appointed senior government councilor in his first year . 1952 was Schlüter his provisional appointment as district administrator in the district of Bernkastel, the 1953-1959 definitive order followed. In 1959 he was appointed government vice-president of the Trier district government , which in 1962 was ultimately followed by the appointment of district president in the Montabaur district .
