Justus Adolf von Rosenberg-Gruszczynski (born September 26, 1837 in Berlin , † April 18, 1900 in Trier ) was a German administrative lawyer and parliamentarian.

Justus was a member of the Lords von Rosenberg-Gruszczynski and a son of the later Prussian infantry general Adolf von Rosenberg-Gruszczynski (1808-1884) and his wife Bertha Anastasia, born von Gruner (* July 21, 1817 in Bern ; † May 12 1896 in Bonn). His brother Adolf August Karl Ernst (* 1845) was a Prussian major general.

Career

Rosenberg attended grammar school in Berlin and Neustrelitz and studied law in Bonn and Berlin . In Bonn he was a member of the Corps Palatia . In 1860 he became an auscultator at the Supreme Court and in September 1862 a trainee lawyer, but in the same year he switched to an administrative career and became a government trainee with the government in Erfurt.

In 1867 Rosenberg was employed as a government assessor auxiliary worker at the ministerial commissioner to regulate direct taxes in Schleswig and Kiel. In 1868 he was transferred to the government in Düsseldorf and on November 15, 1870 he was appointed provisional district administrator in Duisburg . On December 11, 1871, he was definitively appointed. After the city of Duisburg left the district and the district office was relocated, he became district administrator of the Mülheim / Ruhr district in February 1874 , government councilor in the Upper Presidium of the Rhine Province in 1878, administrative director in Koblenz in 1888, member of the upper government in Koblenz in 1892 and on May 1, 1892 with the Government in Trier .

Rosenberg sat in the Prussian House of Representatives from 1886 to 1889 as a member of the constituency of Düsseldorf 5 (Essen city and district, Duisburg city district, Mülheim / Ruhr) . He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party . He was an honorary knight of the Order of St. John and holder of the Order of the Red Eagle III. Class with a bow.
