Ludwig Laistner

Ludwig Laistner (born November 3, 1845 Esslingen am Neckar , † March 22, 1896 in Stuttgart ) was a German writer and literary historian.

Life

Ludwig Laistner studied theology in Tübingen from 1863 to 1867, where he joined the Roigel Royal Society in Tübingen in 1863 . He worked in the pastor's office for over two years, after which he took over a position as private tutor in Munich.

After he was later released from church service, he kept his place of residence in Munich, where he devoted himself exclusively to literary work from 1880.

With Paul Heyse he edited the New German Novell Treasure from 1884 .
