Ludwig Ruckdeschel (musician)

Ludwig Ruckdeschel (* 1968 in Munich ) is a German organist .

Life

After finishing school (including at the musical Pestalozzi Gymnasium in Munich), he studied church music , organ and music education at the Munich University of Music and Theater (among others with Franz Lehrndorfer , Edgar Krapp and Klemens Schnorr ). He is the winner of several organ competitions.

From 1996 to 2003 he was the monastery organist in Altötting , also regional cantor in the dean's office Simbach am Inn and organ consultant for the diocese of Passau . Since 2003 he has been the cathedral organist of the Passau Cathedral organ . His musical work includes extensive concert activities, including international concerts, several CD releases and his own compositions.
