Ludwig Schaller (politician)

Ludwig Schaller (born April 16, 1930 in Bamberg , † March 30, 2009 in Bad Staffelstein ) was a German local politician (CSU). From 1970 to 1972 he was district administrator of the former Staffelstein district , from 1972 to December 12, 1981 deputy district administrator of the Lichtenfels district and finally from December 13, 1981 to December 14, 1993 district administrator of the Lichtenfels district .

Before he was elected as the district administrator of the then Staffelstein district on May 1, 1970, after finishing school, he worked for 26 years in the notary service at the notary's office in Staffelstein. After the disbandment of the Staffelstein district as part of the regional reform, he was deputy district administrator of the Lichtenfels district from July 1972. After the death of his predecessor Helmut G. Walther , Schaller was elected as his successor on December 13, 1981. Schaller held the office of District Administrator of the Lichtenfels district until December 14, 1993. Reinhard Leutner was his successor .

Schaller was also a member of the District Assembly of Upper Franconia (from October 15, 1978 to October 8, 1998).

Ludwig Schaller died on March 30, 2009 in Bad Staffelstein.
