Ludwig Schwab (politician)

Ludwig Franz Schwab (born September 5, 1921 in Klein-Krotzenburg ; † February 14, 1987 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

Life

After attending high school in Seligenstadt and Offenbach am Main, Ludwig Schwab entered the higher level of financial administration. From 1941 to 1945 he did military service and passed the tax inspector's examination in 1948 and then became an auditor . He worked as a tax auditor for various tax authorities. He had been a member of the NSDAP since September 1, 1940 ( membership number 7,779,504).

Schwab had been a member of the CDU since 1952 and there since 1969 district chairman of the CDU Offenbach-Land. Since May 1948 he was the community representative of his home community, since 1960 a member of the district council in the Offenbach district . From December 1, 1970 to November 30, 1982 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. There he was chairman of the sub-committee for the review of the state budget accounts. In 1979 Schwab was a member of the 7th Federal Assembly .

In 1983 he was awarded the Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Schwab was married and had two children.
