Ludwig Veiel

Ludwig Alfred von Veiel (born May 7, 1845 in Cannstatt ; † September 12, 1905 in Leipzig ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Veiel attended the elementary and Latin school in Cannstatt from 1851 to 1859 and the grammar school in Stuttgart from 1859 to 1863 . From 1863 to 1866 and 1867-68 he studied at the University of Tuebingen and 1866-67 at the University of Berlin law . During his studies in 1863 he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity . In 1870 he entered the Württemberg civil service and in 1872 he became a judicial assessor in Tübingen. In 1876 he became a judicial assessor in Stuttgart, from 1879 he was a district judge and from 1880 a district judge there. On February 1, 1897 he was sent to the III. Appointed civil senate of the Imperial Court in Leipzig, of which he remained a member until his death.

From 1884 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Württemberg 2 ( Cannstatt , Ludwigsburg , Marbach , Waiblingen ) and the National Liberal Party , which appeared in Württemberg as the German party .
