Ludwig Wollenheit

Ludwig "Wig" Wollenheit (born January 15, 1915 in Brüx ) is a Sudeten German painter and draftsman .

Life

Ludwig Wollenheit studied from 1935 to 1938 at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Prague and then until 1940 at the Art Academy in Dresden . This was followed by study visits to Germany, Austria and France . In 1943 and 1944 he exhibited at the Great German Art Exhibition in the House of German Art in Munich .

After the end of the Second World War he came to Lauchheim . He devoted himself to architecture and landscape painting . At the Staatliche Glasfachschule (Erwin-Stein-Glasfachschule) in Hadamar he received a teaching position in the decorative design department. In the 1960s he published several articles in the magazine Glaswelt . He also took up residence in Hadamar.
