Luigi Pichler (born January 31, 1773 in Rome ; † March 13, 1854 there ) was a German-Italian gem cutter and medalist .

Luigi Pichler was the son of Anton Pichler and half-brother and student of Giovanni Pichler . After completing his training, he soon gained a great reputation with his brother 39 years older than him, visited Vienna, where he was employed as a professor of engraving in 1818, and where, on behalf of Emperor Franz, he reproduced the most precious gems of the Imperial and Royal Collection of Antiquities in glass paste as a gift for the Pope . His numerous works (almost exclusively intaglios ) come close to those of his brother. He returned to Rome around 1850, where he died in 1854.

Johann Joseph (Giuseppe) Pichler, stepbrother of Giovanni and Luigi Pichler, born around 1760 in Rome, was also a gem cutter.
