Luigi Renna (born January 23, 1966 in Corato , Province of Bari , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Cerignola-Ascoli Satriano .

Life

Luigi Renna received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Andria on September 7, 1991 .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Cerignola-Ascoli Satriano on October 1, 2015 . He was ordained episcopal on January 2nd of the following year by the Archbishop of Bari-Bitonto , Francesco Cacucci . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Andria, Raffaele Calabro , and his predecessor Felice di Molfetta . The inauguration in the diocese took place on January 16, 2016. From May 8, 2018 to January 26, 2019, he was also Apostolic Administrator of the vacant Archdiocese of Manfredonia-Vieste-San Giovanni Rotondo .
