Francesco Cacucci (born April 26, 1943 in Bari ) is Archbishop of Bari-Bitonto .

Life

Benvenuto Italo Castellani was ordained a priest on June 29, 1966 . On April 16, 1987, John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Bari- Bitonto and titular bishop of Castellum Medianum .

The Archbishop of Bari-Bitonto, Andrea Mariano Magrassi OSB , consecrated him bishop on June 13 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Domenico Padovano , Bishop of Conversano-Monopoli , and Michele Mincuzzi , Archbishop of Lecce .

As a motto he chose Pro ovibus suis . On April 8, 1993, the Pope appointed him Archbishop of Otranto . He was appointed Archbishop of Bari-Bitonto on July 3, 1999 and was introduced to the office on September 8 of the same year.
