Luis Maldonado , full name Luis Eduardo Maldonado Presa , (born March 26, 1985 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.84 meter tall defensive player Maldonado was at the beginning of his career from 2007 to mid-2008 in the ranks of the Villa Españolas team . In the 2008/09 season he then played for the Club Oriental de Football . From August 2009 he was active for a year for El Tanque Sisley and played there in the 2009/10 season at least seven games (no goal) in the Segunda División . From August to December 2010 he then ran for Durazno FC in ten second division games (no goal). A few days before the turn of the year, the Paraguayan club Sportivo Luqueño signed him . There Maldonado was used in five first division matches (no goal). In mid-2011 he moved to Boston River . In the 2011/12 season he met the Montevideans once in eleven second division appearances in the opposing goal. In July 2012 he joined Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy . With the Argentines he was used in 29 games (no goal) of the Primera B Nacional and one encounter (no goal) of the Copa Argentina . From August 2013, Maldonado continued his career at Miramar Misiones . In the 2013 Apertura , he played eleven games at the Montevideo club without a personal goal in the Primera División . In the second half of January 2014, he joined the CD Marathon . In the ranks of the Hondurans, he ran in 19 league encounters and scored one goal. From the end of July 2014 until the end of the year, he worked in Argentina at Club Atlético Miter . His statistics show - each personally goalless - eleven games in the Torneo Argentino A and two in the national cup. In the first half of 2015, Maldonado was part of the Deportivo Quitos squad . He scored three goals in 16 league appearances for the Ecuadorians. Until the end of the year, the Chacarita Juniors were his employer. Maldonado played 17 league appearances in the Primera B Nacional at his third club station in Argentina and recorded two personal goals. He has been playing for The Strongest since January 2016 . So far (as of July 15, 2017) he has been used in the Bolivian jersey in 47 league games (two goals), six games (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores 2016 and ten clashes (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores 2017 .
