The tour of the Bangladeshi national cricket team to Sri Lanka in the 2016/17 season took place from March 7th to April 6th, 2017. The international cricket tour was part of the 2016/17 international cricket season and included two tests , three ODIs and two Twenty20s . All series ended in a 1–1 draw.
prehistory
Sri Lanka previously did a tour in Australia , Bangladesh a test in India . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2013/14 season in Bangladesh .
