Luizhausen is a district of the municipality Lonsee in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . The village is about one and a half kilometers south of Lonsee.

history

Luizhausen was first mentioned in a document in 1275. In the 13th century the place was a fiefdom of the Counts of Helfenstein and then until 1485 the Württemberg fiefdom of the Lords of Westerstetten , who in 1485 sold lordship and property in Luizhausen to Ulm . The place belonged to the office Scharenstetten until 1772 and from 1774 to the office Lonsee of the lower rule of the imperial city of Ulm.

In 1803 Luizhausen came to Bavaria and in 1810 by the border treaty between Bavaria and Württemberg to the Kingdom of Württemberg , where the place was subordinated to the Oberamt Ulm .

Luizhausen was incorporated into Lonsee on April 1, 1972.
