Lukas Kilian (born December 30, 1986 in Hamburg ) is a German lawyer and has been a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament ( CDU ) since 2017 .

Life

Kilian spent his childhood in Hamburg-Rissen and moved with his family in his youth first to Hamburg-Horn , then to Glinde and now lives in Wentorf . After graduating from high school in 2007 at the Wichern School , Kilian first completed community service in a social therapeutic facility for addicts in Reinbek , then studied law at the University of Hamburg from 2008 to 2013 and did his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court from 2013 to 2015from. Since 2016 he has been working as an independent lawyer specializing in public law and private construction law in Glinde.

Local political honorary office

In the municipal elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2008 and 2013 , Kilian was elected directly to the Stormarner Kreisag, where he headed the transport committee from 2013 to 2018 and was the deputy chairman of the main committee from 2016 to 2018.

During the entire time as a district member (2008 to 2018), Kilian was the youngest district member in the Stormarn district.

During his time as chairman of the transport committee, local public transport in Stormarn, in particular bus connections and collective call taxes, was expanded.

Landtag mandate

On May 7, 2017, in the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2017, he won 41.2% of the first votes as a directly elected member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein . In the state parliament, Kilian works as a member of the economic committee and the committee for cooperation between the states of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg and as a deputy member of the education committee. In the CDU parliamentary group in the state parliament, he is chairman of the economic group working group and thus its spokesman for economic policy. Kilian is also a member of the committee for cooperation between the states of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg

Kilian is also the parliamentary group's digital policy spokesman. In this function Kilian clearly differs from the EPP position on copyright reform.
