Lumen Monteiro
Lumen Monteiro CSC (born February 1, 1952 in Calangute ) is Bishop of Agartala .
Life
Lumen Monteiro joined the religious order of the Congregation of the Holy Cross and was ordained a priest on October 28, 1980 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Agartala on January 11, 1996 .
The Archbishop of Shillong , Tarcisius Resto Phanrang SDB , donated him episcopal ordination on May 26 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Denzil Reginald D'Souza , Bishop of Aizawl , and Joseph Mittathany , Archbishop of Imphal .
