The Nokia Lumia 630 is a smartphone from the Finnish company Nokia . It was presented at Microsoft Build 2014 in San Francisco together with the Lumia 930 , among others . The Nokia Lumia 630 is the indirect successor of the Lumia 620 , and the predecessor of the Lumia 640 . It was the first smartphone with the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system .

Technical specifications
The Nokia Lumia 630 has a 4.5 inch IPS LC display with a resolution of 854 × 480 pixels (FWVGA). The SoC is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with four cores, each clocking at 1.2 gigahertz . This has 512 megabytes (0.5 gigabytes) of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory available. The latter can be expanded by up to 128 gigabytes with a micro SDXC card. In addition, the Lumia 630 has a 1830 mAh lithium-ion battery , which, however, cannot be charged wirelessly.

The Lumia 630 has a micro USB port for data exchange. The phone also has a 3.5 mm jack plug, for example to connect headphones.
Digital camera
The Lumia 630 has a digital camera on the back that has a 5 megapixel image sensor . This is 1 ⁄ 4 inches tall and has an aperture of f / 2.4 and a fixed focal length of 28 mm. The digital camera has a fourfold digital zoom and auto focus . Videos can be recorded in 720p (HD, 1280 × 720px) at a frame rate of either 24, 25, or 30 FPS (frames per second).
The Lumia 630 does not have a front camera.
software
Windows Phone 8.1 is used as the operating system on the Lumia 630 . An upgrade to the successor Windows 10 Mobile is not possible.
Pre-installed include Nokia's former in-house map service here and the Lumia Camera app.
design
The battery cover of the Lumia 630 is replaceable and is made of colored polycarbonate , which is available in stores in black , green , yellow , orange and white . The display frame is black in all colors.

Except for the Lumia 630 Dual SIM, all sister models have a glossy back. The introductory price of the Lumia 630 was € 159, the Lumia 630 Dual-Sim € 169 and the Lumia 635 € 179.
