The Luol (in the middle and upper reaches: Oize ) is a river in France that runs in the Ardèche department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park , near Col de la Fayolle , in the municipality of Gourdon , generally drains south through a sparsely populated area and flows 19 kilometers into the Ardèche as a left tributary in the municipality of Saint-Privat . Most of the year the Luol is dry.
