Luther Church

The Luther Church in Berge is the parish church of the Luther parish of Berge, which belongs to the Bramsche parish of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hanover .

Building history and description

The Luther Church was built from 1836 to 1839 according to a design by the architect Josef Niehaus . It is a classicistic hall church made of brick with ashlar structure . In 1895 or 1908 Eduard Wendebourg added a neo-baroque tower with an octagonal upper floor.

The classicistic interior with a pulpit altar comes mainly from the time of church building. The organ was built in 1907 by Gebr. Rohlfing in Osnabrück .
